The Tata Harrier EV was launched in India on June 3, 2025 and the bookings have opened from July 2, 2025. The production of Harrier EV has also started at the Pune plant. It is available in multiple variants with price range from 21.49 lakhs to 30.23 lakh (ex-showroom). The rear wheel drive variant RWD has a 238 PS of power and the all wheel drive variant AWD has a dual electric motor that produces 390 bhp of power. The Harrier Ev offers a range of 538 and 627 km on a single full charge.
Tata motors has introduced its electric SUV, an all-electric ‘Tata Harrier’. There are other EV’s also like nexon.ev, curve.ev, tiago ev, punch.ev, tigor ev. But the Tata Harrier EV makes a significant difference from other EV cars. The Tata Harrier EV is available in 5 variants including Adventure, Adventure S, Fearless Plus, Empowered and Empowered AWD. Tata Harrier EV price in India
The Tata Harrier EV is available for booking and bookings have opened from July 2, 2025. The price of the car is variable according to the variants. The 65 kWh battery pack options are priced, Adventure– ₹ 21.49lakh, Adventure S- 21.99 lakh and Fearless Plus at ₹ 23.99 lakh ( all ex-showroom).
The 75 kWh battery option variant offers Fearless Plus at ₹ 24.99 lakh, Empowered at ₹ 27.49 lakh and the top spec- Empowered AWD variant priced at ₹ 28.99 lakh (all prices are ex- showroom)
Existing Tata EV owners will get a special loyalty bonus worth ₹ 1 lakh.
Tata Harrier EV battery and power performance
Tata Harrier offers two: 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack options. The RWD variant comes with a single motor setup at the rear axle that produces 238 PS of power and 315 Nm of torque. The all wheel drive AWD variant offers dual motor setup, one motor for each axle that produces 390 bhp of power and 504 Nm of torque. The dual motor setup uses 75 kWh battery and can accelerate 0- 100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds with boost mode on.

Tata Harrier EV range and top speed
Tata claimed the top speed of 180 kmph in Tata Harrier EV which is electronically limited. The AWD variant with 75 kWh battery power can sprint 0- 100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds.
The RWD variant with 75 kWh battery, offers a range of 627 km on a single full charge while the AWD variant offers a range of 622 km. The 65 kWh RWD variant offers a range of 538 km according to MIDC standards.
It supports a 7.2 kW AC home charger allowing 10% to 100% charge in 10.7 hours. The 120 kW DC charger allows 20% 80% charge in just 25 to 30 minutes as per company claim. The charger and its installation will be billed separately.
Tata Harrier EV design
Inside the car, Harrier EV has a modern look. The dashboard has been upgraded with the two digital displays the cabin and dashboard layout are closely carried from ICE Harrier. It is offered in an elegant dual tone ivory grey and white theme which gives a premium vibe. Front seats are power adjustable, eco friendly leatherette upholstery, soft touch and ambient lighting adds premium experience. It has a four spoke flat bottom steering wheel.

The Tata Harrier EV has a similar exterior design as ICE Harrier. 19 inch aerodynamic turbine style alloy wheels adds sporty design.
Tata Harrier EV features
The Tata Harrier EV interior setup includes a 10.25 inch fully digital instrument cluster for driver to access vehicle data, trip detail and ADAS status. It has also a 14.5 inch Samsung Neo-QLED touchscreen digital display. A 10 speaker JBL dolby atmos audio system ensures reach and immersive sound experience. Controls are enhanced with dual zone climate control, touch based phygital HVAC panel with digital and physical buttons.
The SUV has a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting. The LED DRL’s headlights stretch across the bonnet with features of “welcome/goodbye” animation, when locking or unlocking the car adds a premium look. The great features are V2L and V2V technology. The SUV looks like a portable power station.

V2L allows powering everyday electronic gadgets using the car’s battery. It can power lights, mini fridge and even a laptop. The V2V allows to charge another electric vehicle through a Harrier EV. It is helpful in emergencies when someone’s battery runs out. These two great features make the SUV great
Tata Harrier EV has a feature of auto parking assist. It allows the vehicle to park itself in parallel, perpendicular or diagonal positions without driver input.
In terms of safety features, the SUV includes 7 airbags, built in dash cam, 360 degree camera, blind spot detection, Electronics Stability Control (ESC), a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Level 2 ADAS features, Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with Auto Hold and Hill Descent Control.
It has received 5 star rating in Bharat NCAP crash tests.

It has specialized modes like Grass, Mud Ruts, Rock Crawl, and Sand for off-roading. It offers five color options: Pristine White, Pure Grey, Empowered Oxide, Nainital Nocturne, and Stealth Black. The Stealth Black option is available only on the Stealth Edition of the Harrier EV.
