Mahavatar Narsimha reached  ₹100 crore (all languages) at the box office within 12 days. It has received a 9.5/10 star rating on IMDb. This marks a milestone in Indian cinema, the faith-rooted animated epic that combines storytelling with animation.

Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur’s Son of Sardaar 2

Son of Sardaar 2 was released on 1st August 2025. Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur’s ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ is directed by filmmaker Vijay Kumar Arora. The film made 3.5 crore on its opening day. It is the sequel to the 2012 hit film ‘Son of Sardaar’. The film offers a comedic drama with lots of humor.
The film has collected ₹ 27.25 crore at the box office within 4 days and holds a 7.8 10 IMDb rating.

Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s Dhadak 2

Dhadak 2 was released on 1st August  2025 and clashed with Ajay Devgn’s film ‘Son of Sardaar 2.’ The film is written and directed by Shazia Iqbal. The leading characters are Siddhant Chaturvedi as Neelesh and Triptii Dimri as Vidhi. The film is the remake of the 2018 Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal. The story focuses on Nilesh (Siddhant Chaturvedi), a bright dalit law student and Vidhi (Triptii Dimri), an upper-caste Brahmin girl. They fall in love with each other in college, but society doesn’t accept their relationship. The story is about the struggle they go through.

The film gives an important message about inequality, injustice and casteism. It is a thoughtful film but still has no wake-up call from the audience. Dhadak 2 has collected ₹ 12.8 crore at box office within 4 days and holds an 8.1/10 rating on IMDb.

Saiyaara still continued its run at the box office, collecting ₹ 300+ crores and achievements with two newcomers. Dhadak 2 is another romantic drama and thriller film that gives an important message. Son of Sardaar 2 collected enough on its opening.
