MG has launched the MG M9 EV MPV car through MG select dealership at starting price of ₹ 69.90 lakhs. The M9 EV is available in a single ‘Presidential Limousine’ variant. The MG M9 EV has a 90 kWh battery and offers a range of 548 km on a single full charge. It comes with a single motor that produces 245 PS power and 350 Nm of torque.
JSW MG motor India has launched its MPV (multipurpose vehicle), an all-electric ‘MG M9 EV’. As this is a multipurpose vehicle it has a premium look and a luxurious experience. It’s India’s most luxurious electric vehicle that offers multiple functions and features. Here is its price, its power performance, design and features.
MG M9 EV Price in India
The MG M9 EV is now available for booking in India at a starting price of ₹ 69.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings for the car have been opened from July 21, 2025 through MG select dealership centres in 13 cities via the company’s official website. The deliveries of the car are scheduled to begin from August 10, 2025
MG M9 EV battery and power
The MG M9 EV offers a single motor that drives front wheels. Means it’s a FWD vehicle. The motor produces 245 PS power and 350 Nm of torque. The M9 comes with a lithium iron battery pack of 90 kWh, which powers the front wheel driven e- motor.
MG M9 EV Range and charging
The MG M9 EV offers a range of 548 km on the single full charge as per MIDC standard. It supports 11 kW AC wall box charger and 3.3 kW portable charger allowing it to charge 0 – 100% in 10 hours. While using a 160 kW DC fast charger it can be charged in just 90 minutes. Some reports indicate that a 30-80% fast charge can be achieved in 30 minutes using a 160 kW DC charger.
MG M9 EV Design
The MG M9 EV has the boxy silhouette of luxury MPVs, and is 5.2 metre long. It has a 6 seat layout with second row captain’s chairs.
Inside the car M9 offers a minimalist dashboard. It has two digital touch screen displays. The black and tan coloured theme gives a luxurious vibe inside the car. Each second row seat offers 16-way adjustments including reclining backrest, extendable leg rests, heating and 8 massage modes.
It has a two spoke steering wheel which adds a classic look.
The MG M9 has sharp LED headlights and tail lamps, 19 inch alloy wheel, Chrome accent and bold bumper makes it look better. It also has electrically sliding rear doors
MG M9 EV features
The MG M9 EV interior setup includes 12.32 inch infotainment digital touch screen display and 7 inch driver digital touch screen display. It has wireless apple carplay and Android auto connectivity, digital rear view mirror, on board air purifier and 360 degree camera function. The unique mood lighting with 64 ambient colors along with a 13-speaker JBL audio system enhances the rich and immersive sound experience.
The MG M9 EV features dual sunroof, a single-pan electric sunroof above the front seats and larger panoramic sunroof spanning the cabin above the second row VIP seats. Its 64 customizable ambient colours represent the moods like relaxation, study, night, rest, massage etc. its keyless entry and go, powered front seats, 3-zone automatic control and wireless phone charger are additional features.
In terms of safety features it includes level-2 Advance Driver Assistant System (ADAS), A tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ABS with EBD, front and rear disc brakes, 360 degree camera overview, ISOFIX child seat anchors with a seat belt reminder, lane keep assist, departure warning, blinds spot detection and much more.
Additionally it has 7 airbags including driver and passenger airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) and electronic parking brakes. The MG M9 EV has achieved a five star safety rating from Euro NCAP and Australian NCAP crash tests.
