MG Cyberster, an electric convertible sports car, is now available in India at a starting price of ₹ 74.99 lakh. The car can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. It has 510 PS ( 503 horsepower approx) and can travel up to 580 km on a single charge.
JSW MG motor India has introduced its most powerful an electric convertible sports car, ‘MG Cyberster’. Roadsters are something which we do not see regularly in India, but with the arrival of MG Cyberster it is expected to change this scenario. Marked as the “world’s fastest MG,” here is what it actually offers.
MG Cyberster price in India
MG Cyberster is now available for booking in India, at a starting price of ₹ 74.99 lakh for new bookings. Those who pre-booked the car, will get it for ₹ 72.49 lakh ( ex-showroom), a 2.50 lakh lower at price. The bookings have been opened from July 25, through MG select dealership centres in 13 cities, via the company’s website. The delivery of the car is scheduled to begin from August 10, 2025.
MG Cyberster Battery and Power performance
MG Cyberster offers dual motor setup, with one motor for each axle. The motors produce 725 NM torque with 510ps (503 HP) capable of speed up from 0 -100 km in just 3.2 seconds. It has a 77 kwh battery which is just 110 mm thick.
MG Cyberster top speed and range
The MG Cyberster car has a top speed of 200 kmph. With the power of two motors, the car can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds and can extend up to 200kmph. MG Cyberster offers a range of 580 km on a single full charge, as per the MIDC standard. It supports 144 kW DC fast charging, allowing 80% charge in just 35-40 minutes, making long distance travel fun and accessible. Both the pre-booking and launch price includes the cost of a 3.3 kW portable charger, a 7.4 kW wall box charger and standard installation.
MG Cyberster design
Inside the car, the cabin presents a driver focused layout with a triple display cockpit. It has premium alcantara and leather touches. The car has fully digital instrumentation with customizable themes, reflecting a premium experience. It has also a flat bottomed Yoke- style steering wheel, which adds a premium look inside the car.
The MG Cyberster is different from traditional EV, styling with an aerodynamic, muscular, bold and sporty design. Turbine style sporty alloy wheels make the exterior look classic. MG Cyberster is not just an EV, it looks like the future of sports cars.
MG Cyberster features
The Cyberster interior setup includes a 10.25 inch central touch screen and two 7 inch digital panels offering setting, access to vehicle data and entertainment. A BOSE audio system with noise comparison ensures a rich and immersive sound experience inside the car. Controls are enhanced with dual-zone automatic climate control equipped with pm 2.5 air filtration.
Cyberster has electric scissor doors like a Lamborghini and soft-top convertible roof. The car has 20 inch lightweight alloy wheels offering visual drama and performance. The sharp LED headlights, inspired by “Magic Eye” designs, in the front area, look sleek and hi-tech. While the rear features include a full width LED light bar with integrated indicators.
In terms of safety features, it includes Level – 2 Advance Driver Assistant System (ADAS), lane keep assistant, speed limit assist, lane cross warning, active emergency braking, rear cross alert and blind spot detection.
Additionally it has front and side air bags, electronic stability control and an electronic differential lock. The MG Cyberster incorporates a high strength H Frame Structure and Static Stability Factor (SSF) of 1.83, creating a benchmark in rollover resistance.
